Doom legacy and Chex quest 3

ok so I got doom legacy from TUCQ I enjoyed it many hours before I realized that chexquest 3 has hit the table. now I am wondering it there a possible way to load the Chexquest 3 iwad into doom legacy? I mean the game is freaking epic stand alone but wouldn't it be great to run through those crazy lvls with a buddy? since legacy has multiplayer support  I figured what the heck? so I made a batch file just like the one with TUCQ I load the doomu.wad as the iwad and the chex3.wad as the file. I run the game, it runs!!! but it crashes after a few moments due to the demo starting. I try to start the game quickly into any episode my mouse lands on but it still gives me a
signal handler() : Segment violation....
when I try to run chex3 as the iwad and doomu as the file. it gives me an error before I even start the game

No, it is not possible to run Chex Quest 3 on Legacy. ZDoom and Legacy use two completely different set of scripts. (Fraggle and ACS) Not to mention Legacy doesn't have Decorate/Hexen support. You can however use Skulltag, a multiplayer port based off of ZDoom that has support for CQ3. You can find it here. http://skulltag.com/

You can use any of these engines to run CQ 3 (in order of how well they will run):

GZDoom
Zdoom
Skulltag

ok thanks, I believe I already had a skulltag wad lying around my computer someplace but whenever I tried loading it wouldn't work. do I load it in Zdoom or doom legacy?
Edit: nvm I took a look at the website for skulltag, I had no idea it was a program not just a wad

I am not sure how to load the wad into skull tag I try loading it and it says it isn't compatible with shareware wads can someone help me?

@Slime,Rep: I dont think chex3 support is in skulltag yet...

@rexxor: best way to do it is to get the chex iwad (doomu, if you used TUCQ), and put it in the same folder as skulltag and the chex3.wad. hilight both (control+click each), and drag both to skulltag.exe holding doomu first. it should then let you load.

Atari's right, Skulltag doesn't support CQ3.

I found by loading TUCQ wad along with the doomu wad it work and runs the first 2 episodes of chexquest just fine with multiplayer and everything

Just try running it in GZDoom as chex3.wad. You're not really playing CQ 3 with the method you're describing.
