And yeah, as in like actual new flemoids, not just recolored or modified Flems and Zorchers, right?  Me too.

5 levels on the doom engine, 5 levels on the doom 2 engine, 5 on hexen, 5 on heretic, and 5 on strife. All have slightly different features and weapons, and would be cool to see. I do like that with zdoom, its possible to do that w/o changing IWADs, but I'd like it to be native, not forced.

That would be nice, and then a 25 level compilation of all of them.

If there will ever be a Chex Quest 4 most likely there will be new flemiods, I'm just wondering if they will be completly new DECORATE monsters or based off the orignal DooM (II) monsters.

CQ4 should be retitled Mega CQ or something, and should be like Ultimate Doom, 4 episodes and the like.

If Chex Trek wasn't taken, that could be a Doom 2 mod, with 5 levels to intermission instead of 7 or 8 currently.

...I'm at a loss on what to call the hexen/heretic mod, or the strife...

hexen/heretic was set in older times...mebe Chex Crusades?
and strife...with the advanced systems available, maybe CQ: Spyzorz or something...maybe Chex War, but that implies a bloody conflict...IDK. Chex Quest: Cold War...MAYBE

I think your thinking inside the box, we have MAPINFO! We can do anything with any future Chex Quest mods.

I wouldn't opposie a Hetric/Hexen Chext Quest mod, but I don't think its something an offical Chex Quest mod should be made for.

the doom 2 idea was just to keep the standard 5 levels a pop...you know how doom 2 goes. you play 7 levels, get an intermission screen, then play 7 more, just like that. now just drop it from 7 to 5 and you got a CQ flow into it. I was planning on MAPINFO, thats where I thought about less levels. and a 4th CQ episode wouldn't need any mapinfo...it would be ultimate doom.

Hey, if you got new tech, take advantage of it.  Unless you're Atari the novelty-dude, of course. 

Chex Crusades sounds nice.  And it's got my initials! 

Chex War does imply heavy conflict, and may break the rules of the original CQ, but then again there's also CQ G2 Episode 4, lol.

CQG2, imo, breaks all the rules...its NOT what I think of or even wanna see when I see chex quest...but to each his own...

True.  However, I do see much potential in that mod, whatwith the objectives and flemoids/weps that he's put in.  Unfortunately, the storyline does kinda spoil it, due to it's objectionable content, that completely (as I've said before) "takes the original idea of Chex Quest and throws it off the Empire State Building."

Chuck, have you looked into any of Strife's older music? Check manny's site for the zip, there are a good set of them on there...
