I'm starting to wonder if the Chex Quest series has a future once again. Maybe even sparking a Next Gen sequel.

Well there's Violation Flemoid in the works.

Chex Quest 3 still has a few holes, like some missing music and maybe some other stuff, so we shouldn't get ahead of ourselves. ;) However, the idea of a Chex Quest 4 does sound appetizing. >:D

Yay CQ3!

However, the first paragraph almost makes no sense when you take the story that they wanted a game for advertising and only used the Doom engine when they discovered that making a game from scratch would take very long.

On that story note, I wonder how Chex Quest would have looked in 1996 Macromedia Director...XD
Don't take me seriously. In fact, don't take me at all!

Making a First Person Shooter still counts as "Cashing in on the Doom Craze". It was a publicity stunt to boost sales (and it did).

But it totally rocked. The advertising wasn't even intrusive. Digital Cafe handled a terrible idea and made a brilliant, unique game.

Unlike some other cerealbox/giveaway games I've recieved...><

Exactly. That was the point of the first paragraph. The best thing that EVER came in a cereal box. EVER.
