I saw someone (specifically Manny Cav) say that they had tried Chex Quest Advanced on DOSbox, and I wanted to try it, because I can't manage to find the ZDooM folder on my Linux machine, what I did to run CQA.wad was this:
I had two of the main components in my Chex folder:
An IWAD (chex.wad)
A PWAD (chexa.wad)
and all the other chex quest files required.
I went into DOSbox, mounted all the drives, and typed:
Quote from:  me
chex -file chexa.wad

Then CQ started, but it wasn't CQ Advanced, I could tell.
What am I doing wrong?

Well I have seen some people play DooM wads with dosbox why don't you search it on youtube.

I looked it up, and tried alot of stuff based on just my knowledge of Linux/DOSbox (and many years screwing around in CMD) but nothing worked. Oh well.

I would suggest using a batch file, and include the full path names.

Is CQ advanced actually for DOS, or is it for a source port?

Chex Quest Advanced is a project by me and The Slimeinator to improve the original Chex Quest series, but keep the old classic feel.

(Phase 1) CHEXA.WAD

*Remaster the original Chex Quest while still having work in the original CHEX.EXE.
