Someone please pin this up... I had a hard time finding it...
Whatever happened to the links to pages at the bottom of the forum? Ever since the switch, they never returned. CQ wiki was on the list, too.
I think it was left to the back of mind...most of the sites hadn't been updated in a while anyway...
Hi.
I decided that the Flemoids didn't quite have a proper article being stuck together like that, so I made a entire category and made mini-pages for them. (Though they need more info) It's quite good in my opinion, and lists all official ones from both games:
http://chexquest.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Flemoids (http://chexquest.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Flemoids)
One pinned topic, comin' up! (It was pinned on the old board, so this is okay to do, right?)
I would think so...plus it helps me too, I couldn't find it recently.
Has anyone thought of actually redesigning the main layout of the wiki to possibly match the forums? It looks like an average wiki in its current state.
xbolt has been kinda busy, but I think slimenator kinda revamped it...content wise
I doubt the site's layout can actually be altered, since it's free hosting or something like that. I don't think Wikia sites can be altered besides a few things like logos and whatnot.

I think alot of the articles on there need to take on a more scientific tone [I revamped the Zorcher article a little bit, changing prongs to electrodes and such], as often they don't have a very encyclopedic tone.
i revised some articles and fixed some spelling errors. if you see one, give me a shout.
I changed a ! to a . in one of the articles. I don't remember which one though, I think it was on the flemoids in general.
I've edited the fan made flemoids in project Z. Zorchdude, its called "Fan made flemoids" You may not take credit for what chucker has made.
Someone apparently thought that it would be funny to change the "monster origins" in the Flemoids (http://chexquest.wikia.com/wiki/Flemoids) article for the Flembrane from baron of hell to Icon of Sin, and the Maximus's original monster from baron of hell to cyberdemon. The articled cried out to me for help, so I helped it.
Perhaps they were playing TNCQ 2 and mistook the Metallius for a Maximus.
I just added an article for Chuck's mod, and performed a little spring cleaning. (Technically summer cleaning, but whatever.)
Mod makers! How 'bout expanding the articles on your mods, eh? Some of them look like they need s'more info.
I just started a mapping tutorial on the Wiki, accessible through the 'Modding Chex Quest' link. It currently covers the setup phase and doors, with lifts coming next.
Alright! This is the second time I had to edit the "User made flemoids"! We should make it a rule that you cannot add any flemoid NOT MADE BY YOU to the Wiki. After I rip the user made flemoids from project z, some one else throughs Ulricus into their own and takes credit. And original, the Ulricus didn't appear to your mod. (You know who you are...) It was first released in Manny's mods. Ugg, you guys are starting to annoy the crap out of me!
I'm working on making things easy enough to understand on the tutorial that an idiot could learn how to map from it. If you get a chance, please drop by to see it and tell me how I'm doing. If there is anything that is hard to understand, please let me know so I can hopefully reword it.
ok, will there be a section on editing enemies, or just maps?
I'll work on making it as complete as possible, starting with mapping, then going to the other skills at which I am less than par, giving me a bit of time to brush up sufficiently to do it right.
Actually, since this is a mapping tutorial, I will restrict it to just the mapping area. I may cover other things in other tutorials.
Please note that my tutorial may be delayed or very slow for a while, due to personal conflicts for about a week.
Alright, but try to watch the double posting if you're not the topic creator or are not in the Fan Projects, Forum Games, or Off Topic Discussion forums.
Sorry, I didn't realize that I had been the last person to post here. If I had, I would've edited.
Won't happen again, gov'ner!
I just talked with Richie. Pinned topics are now in the clear for the double posting rule, so redemption has been brought unto thee. :D
Ooh, ooh! (raises hand into air) I made the article on TNCQ: G2!!!
However, I noticed that somebody (prolly Slime) added in the stuff about scripts or something. Good, 'cause I have no idea about any of that stuff.
I made an article about Project F, but it has no pictures, so if anyone has good pictures, then please add them.
...NO ONE HAS ANY PICTURES FROM IT...if you don't have any, no one will. Its not even fully started!
I'm talking about enemy pictures ::)
If I wanted pictures of my mod in general, I would just printscreen :)

You also accidently put a 2 after the "Quest". However, Xbolt fixed that. And, it was indeed I who added the second paragraph.
Yes, I noticed. Wouldn't that look redundant, The New Chex Quest 2: Generation 2, Release 2, Part 2, Chapter 2, Map02, 42...
Did some editing on the mapping tutorial, linked all DooM Builder terms to their definitions. I finally figured out how to link to something inside the page you're already viewing!
EDIT: About done with the lift tutorial. For the record, am I cluttering things with all of the pics I'm uploading? If so, I could try to cut down on pics at the expense of some confused readers (I should know, I've been one of the confused readers at the other end of a bad tutorial).
I want to make sure first, is it OK to bump a sticky topic?
It seems that the CQ Wiki is dying, I have been recently doing stuff on it and I'm wondering, is there any stuff I can do that needs to be done, like edit the project pages of work on level walkthroughs?

yes
The history page really need to be updated as well
BANHAMMER COMETH.
hehe, nice try Slimeinator. :P
board rules allow for pinned and stickied topics to be necro exempt. :P
'Tis why I didn't use the picture.

Nice, and you even broke it up into years. 8)

The board rules (http://chexquest.org/index.php?topic=2.0) say it is. :D
updated irc section
Anything else I can do?
I'm going to update my CQTLQ page agian.
anything you can find that needs updating? XD
I was thinking adding the Decorate for each Flemiod on the CQ Wiki, But when I try to add it, it looks bad.
Heres a picture, the top is what I want it to look like but the bottem is what mine looks like.
(http://img524.imageshack.us/img524/6229/wikipm1.png) (http://imageshack.us)
Does anyone know how to make a code box like in the top of the picture?
Can you try editing that particular page on the DooM Wiki? (That is where it comes from, right?) If so, just look over the code that they used, then don't save the changes. If possible, copy/paste their code and replace the necessary parts with the information from the CQ Decorate monster.
I find it kinda weird that in the wiki paage on CQ3's levels. All it has is *The # level of Chex Quest 3* I think we could posably change this, by stating whats happening at this point of the story, as well as telling were the secrets are located.
Yayz! ^^
I got the Decorate on the Flemiod pages, I also did some other things!
Added a page on CQ Multiplayer.
I added some updates to the [working title]Project F page, as well as a fix (there is no weapon called Project F)
i would like to recogmend that we make a How-To type thing on Multiplayer on the Wiki
Ha ha, what? How-to type thing? What is that saying? ??? Also, I just checked out the Chex Quest Multiplayer (http://chexquest.wikia.com/wiki/Chex_Quest_Multiplayer) article, and it seems rather unprofessional, taking text directly from Wikipedia like that.
Heh, it's a placeholder. I added it, and I think I have all the right to do so because I added that info on Wikipedia. But go right ahead, if anyone would like to clean it up and make a real article, go right ahead.

??
For what, how to play CQ on Skulltag?
use 'styled' instead of 'type' in there, and it makes sense.
But a guide as to what to do would be okay...
Yes, CC
There's a spelling error in the title of E3M1: Central Comand (Chex Quest 3) (http://chexquest.wikia.com/wiki/E3M1:_Central_Comand_(Chex_Quest_3)). It should be "E3M1: Central Command (Chex Quest 3)".
Then fix it. :P
lol, I would, but I don't know how. :(
Don't you think that I'd do it if I knew how to? :P I don't know how you go about changing the title of a page already created. It may not even be possible. One may have to make a new page, copy everything from the old page, then delete the old page.
The thought did cross my mind, but then I realized I was replying to "Manny Cav" XD.
/JK I guess I over estimated your ability to edit things.
Yeah, I have no idea how to change titles...T_T, you might have to copypasta like Cavour said...
The "User Created Flemoids" page (http://chexquest.wikia.com/wiki/User_Created_Flemoids) is out dated and messy, does anyone have ideas on how to improve it?
Yeah, it does need a cleaning, that list was the same when I first saw it 8 months ago...needs a revamp...
I was thinking of putting up download link to a zip with the sprites, sound, decorate or anything else with the corresponding custom flemoid on the User Created flemoids page.
What do you think of this idea?
Sounds sweet. ;) How are you gonna find all the data?
I'm trying to create a new "Info-box" in the Chex Quest wiki, here what it looks like now. http://chexquest.wikia.com/wiki/Flemoidus_Commonus
It's not working right can someone figure out whats wrong?
