...*feels awkward charging into a two-way conversation* Does anyone here know of the Mew glitch for the classic Game Boy games? I tried it, and it's pretty cool beans. Makes the gym leaders and battles seem easy.

I believe so.  I stopped doing Pokemon after Gold and Silver.  I just got bored with it.  I do remember catching Missingno in Blue however...

I never got the glitch to work out of the box, but a friend of mine used a Gameshark and scored me a cute little Mew anyways. That little guy is hardcore. Unfortunately, I had already beat the game, so having him was somewhat pointless. :D

i know how to get mew dont use your s.s ticket till you have surf and strength then surf east then push the truck with strength then you should be in a battle with a mew (you dont need a game shark to do this)

Which variant did you [try to] use? I've heard of a few different ways to glitch the Red and Blue versions into giving you Mew. What I did is start a new game on the Red version, chose Bulbasaur, and battled my way to Cerulean City. Before battling Misty, I went through the Nugget bridge, beat them up and the rival, and did some weird exploit with an Abra in the nearby grass filed that's catchable from there. It involved teleporting back to Cerulean City while someone was trying to engage me in a battle. I did some other stuff that ultimately led to me going towards the nugget bridge, causing a wild Mew to appear. It was pretty easy to catch. It was almost too easy, as I had to use fairly weak attacks to make sure I didn't blow it, which can sometimes hard to do when you're at that point. Nevertheless, I caught it, and I'm still training it up to this day. The neat part is that I needed no game assister like a GameShark. I just used the game's own code.

Where did you hear that? My brother tried that, and it didn't work. I heard that it was an internet hoax. Have you ever got Mew doing that?
